This steel chronograph watch is the expression of relaxed elegance, perfect for any occasion. Its 42 mm diameter case is water-resistant to 10 ATM and combines round and cushion shapes in the pure aesthetic tradition of Piaget, featuring a polished and satin-finish bracelet with folding clasp.
The silver dial features applied luminescent hour markers, dauphine hands and a trotteuse hand, displays the hours, minutes and seconds at the center and the date at 6 o’clock.
The sapphire crystal case back of this luxury men’s watch reveals the finishes of the Piaget 1160P Manufacture automatic movement and its anthracite-gray oscillating weight, decorated with the Piaget coat-of-arms.
The 1160P movement is a development of the 880P automatic mechanical chronograph movement. This automatic chronograph movement has central seconds, a 12 hours counter at 9 o’clock, and a 30 minutes counter at 3 o’clock. The date at 6 o’clock completes the indications of this movement, which has a thickness of only 5.72 mm.
The various phases of the 1160P chronograph movement are controlled by a column-wheel; a construction method renowned for its chronometric qualities. In addition to its remarkable accuracy, its vertical coupling-clutch system spares the 50-hour power reserve. The 1160P movement vibrates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and is fitted with a balance stop.
The 1160P movement includes fine finishes: Piaget coat-of-arms engraved on the slate gray oscillating weight, Côtes de Genève decorations, circular-grained main plate, beveled bridges, sunburst wheels and blued screws.
